1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering, or accessing the Bookr mobile application, you explicitly agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately uninstall the app and cease all use of our services.


2. Role of the Platform (Safe Harbour Clause)

Bookr operates strictly as a digital intermediary and aggregator platform. Our primary function is to facilitate the discovery and booking of third-party venues, including Staycations (Resorts, Farmhouses), Sports Venues (Turfs, Courts), Dining Experiences (Table Bookings, Bill Payments), and Events (Concerts, Shows) ("Vendors").

  • Bookr does not own, manage, maintain, or control any of the venues listed on the platform.
  • Bookr does not guarantee the exact quality, safety, standard, or legality of the services provided by the Vendors.
  • Any transaction, interaction, or dispute occurring at the physical venue is strictly between you and the Vendor.

    • 3. Account Registration and Security

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to register and create an account. By proceeding, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
  • Accuracy of Data: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration.
  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your mobile device and OTP access. Bookr will hold you liable for any bookings, payments, or activities conducted through your account, whether authorized by you or not.

    • 4. Booking Process and Digital QR Verification

  • Confirmation: A booking is only deemed confirmed once the required advance payment is successfully processed and a confirmation is reflected in the app.
  • QR Code Check-in: Upon confirmation, the app generates a unique QR Code. This digital pass must be presented to the Vendor upon arrival.
  • Non-Transferability: Bookings and QR codes are non-transferable and strictly prohibited from commercial resale. Bookr is not liable if you share your QR code and another individual utilizes your booking slot.

    • 5. Venue-Specific Policies

    By booking a venue, you agree to abide by both Bookr's Terms and the Vendor's internal house rules.

    A. Sports Turfs:

  • Users must wear appropriate, non-marking athletic footwear. Metal studs are strictly prohibited to prevent turf damage.
  • Bookings are strictly time-bound. Late arrivals will not result in an extension of the booking slot, nor will it warrant a partial refund.

    • B. Farmhouses & Staycations:

  • Primary guests must present a valid Government ID (Aadhar, Passport) at check-in.
  • If the number of arriving guests exceeds the capacity selected during booking, the Vendor reserves the right to charge an "Extra Guest Fee" directly at the property, or deny entry entirely.
  • Guests are financially liable for any intentional or accidental damage caused to the property, furniture, or appliances during their stay.

    • C. Events & Clubs:

  • Organizer rights are absolute. Entry is subject to age restrictions, dress codes, and capacity limits set by the Organizer.
  • Event organizers reserve the "Right of Admission" and may evict disruptive attendees without a refund.

    • D. Restaurants & Dining:

  • Table reservations are subject to grace periods. If you are more than 15-30 minutes late, the Restaurant reserves the right to release your table.

    • 6. Payments, Commissions, and Balance Settlement

  • Advance Payments: Bookr collects an advance payment or full payment to secure your booking.
  • Platform Fees: Bookr may charge a non-refundable convenience fee, platform fee, or commission on transactions.
  • Pay on Arrival: For bookings requiring partial advance payments, the remaining balance (including taxes, extra time, food, or additional guests) must be paid directly to the Vendor at the venue. Bookr holds no liability for disputes arising over final cash or direct UPI settlements made outside the app.

    • 7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Vendor Policies: Every Vendor on Bookr dictates their own specific cancellation and refund policy based on hours remaining prior to the slot. These rules are explicitly displayed on the booking summary page prior to payment.
  • Processing Time: If a booking is cancelled within the allowable refund window, the eligible amount will be processed back to the original payment source within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Internet Handling Fees: Convenience fees and internet handling charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Weather Disruptions: For outdoor venues (e.g., Turfs, Open-air Events), cancellations due to rain or adverse weather are subject exclusively to the Vendor's discretion.

    • 8. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

    While utilizing the Bookr app or attending a booked venue, you strictly agree NOT to:

  • Engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or criminal activities.
  • Consume, possess, or distribute illegal substances at any booked venue.
  • Cause physical damage, vandalism, or theft at the Vendor's property.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse Vendor staff, Bookr customer support, or other patrons.
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to mine data or manipulate the app's inventory systems.

    • 9. User Generated Content (Reviews & Ratings)

    Users may submit reviews and ratings regarding their venue experience. By submitting content, you grant Bookr a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute this feedback across our platform. Bookr reserves the right to remove any review that contains profanity, hate speech, spam, or false information without prior notice.


    10. Intellectual Property Rights

    All content, logos, designs, graphics, software code, and UI/UX elements within the app are the exclusive intellectual property of Bookr. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal booking purposes. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, or distribution of our intellectual property will result in immediate legal action.


    11. Indemnification

    You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bookr, its founders, employees, directors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any laws, or any damages you cause to a Vendor's physical property.


    12. Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Bookr app and all related services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted app functionality.


    13. Limitation of Liability

    To the absolute maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Bookr be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including personal physical injury, loss of property, or loss of life occurring at a booked venue. In any circumstance, Bookr’s total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the specific platform fee or commission Bookr retained from your disputed booking.


    14. Force Majeure

    Bookr shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, governmental lockdowns, internet outages, server failures, or pandemic restrictions.


    15. Termination of Usage

    We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate your account and block your access to the platform, without prior notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent chargebacks, or disrupted the safety of the platform.


    16. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Arbitration

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.
